Account Management
Administrators manage user creation, deletion, permissions, and camera access groups. User information, deletion, and EVA server access are managed through the separate centralized account management page.
Operating Principles
- Use individual accounts and avoid shared accounts.
- Grant the minimum role required for each person.
- Assign the appropriate camera groups.
- Remove accounts promptly when people leave or change roles.
Creating an Account
- An administrator of the centralized account management platform creates accounts that can access EVA.
- The administrator enters the user's information, initial password, and access permissions for each EVA server.
- Basic information: ID, email, company, and department
- User group: the permission group for each EVA server
- Initial password: the password used at the user's first sign-in
For details about centralized account management, refer to its separate manual.
Permission Management
Permission management is essential for stable and secure operation.
- Admin: Policy, system, license, and permission management
- Manager: Camera, scenario, detection, and feedback operations
- User: Primarily viewing
Define both the settings each role may change and the alerts each role may view to avoid operational conflicts.
